Privacy Policy
What personal information Haut Monde Post handles through its contact and newsletter forms, who else sees it, how long it is kept, and your rights.
Haut Monde Post is a digital publication: you can read every story without an account. This policy explains the little personal information the site handles: what you send us through the contact and newsletter forms, the technical data needed to deliver the pages, and measurement after your consent. Last updated October 15, 2026.
The contact form
Your full name, e-mail address, subject and message reach the editors as an e-mail in our mailbox, so that we can answer you. Our own server also records who wrote and when, without the message. We keep messages only as long as we need them to reply.
The newsletter
Your e-mail address reaches the editors’ mailbox and our server records it, so that we can send you the newsletter. To leave the list, write to us and we remove your address.
Protection from abuse
To stop automated abuse of the forms, the server counts the recent sends from each network address for ten minutes, in memory only. A hidden field and the time spent on a form tell people from scripts; neither is stored.
Delivering the pages
Like every website, the servers that deliver the pages see your network address, your browser and the page you ask for. Vercel, which hosts the site, handles this data to deliver it and keep it secure.
Analytics and cookies
Only if you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 measures visits to hautmondepost.com. Your cookie choice is kept in your own browser for 182 days; to change it at any time, choose Cookie preferences in the site footer. The Cookie Policy lists everything the site stores.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. Service providers handle it on our behalf: the provider of our mailbox, Vercel and, after your consent, Google. Some of them may process data outside your country under their own safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, and you can object to its use. Where the law gives you more rights, as the GDPR does, we respect them. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Write to us through the Contact form in the footer, or at editor@hautmondepost.com.
