Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser; local storage keeps similar notes on your device. Haut Monde Post keeps both to a minimum, and the site works without any optional cookie.

Essential storage

We remember your cookie choice in the local storage of your browser, under the name hmp-cookie-consent, so the banner does not return on every page. It is kept for 182 days; then we ask again. It is always active: without it the site could not respect your choice.

Analytics cookies (optional)

With your permission, Google Analytics 4 tells us in aggregate how readers use the site. It loads only after you choose Accept all or switch analytics on, and only on hautmondepost.com. It sets two cookies:

• •_ga tells visits apart; kept for up to two years.
• •_ga_ followed by our measurement ID keeps the state of a visit; kept for up to two years.

If you switch analytics off later, the site stops measuring and removes these cookies from your browser.

Advertising

We do not use advertising cookies.

Your choices

Select Cookie preferences in the site footer to change your choice at any time. You can also clear or block cookies and site data in the settings of your browser; the site keeps working without optional cookies.
